A Tribute to my dear Mum, Mozayan (Mozy)

This is my first time writing a tribute to my mother on WP. To put it bluntly, I hadn’t done it before because I was unsure about the exact time; I can’t find my mother’s ID again as I am sure I have had it in my hands once. So I asked my brother-in-law and looked at Wikipedia about my father, hoping my mother’s name would also be mentioned there! After all, my father was a famous writer of his time. So, I found the time of her passing away would be today, in 1972.

She was undeniably beautiful and often caught the attention of many men. However, living with such beauty in a primitive society made it difficult for her to embrace her individuality. She had a hard time, especially after our father’s death. However, she made a considerable effort to raise us, and I will always appreciate her love.

She had leukaemia and passed away at the age of fifty-nine. I will never forget the scene when, after a long wait, you entered the house with plastic swords in your arms from the time of King Arthur, which was one of our wishes to have them.

You will never be forgotten; your compassion and love will accompany us forever. 💖💖🙏🕊

  2. What a beautiful, heartfelt tribute to your beautiful mother, Aladin. I’m so sorry that she was taken early in her life. I cannot imagine how great the grief and loss must’ve been to your entire family. Thank you for sharing your precious family photos too, such treasure.

    Because I’m not familiar with this Queen song, “Mother Love” I looked up the lyrics to understand more and was moved to discover that this was the very last song Freddie sang with his band, stopping after only three lines because he felt too unwell on that day to continue.

    That you share this particular song, along with your beautiful tribute to your mother, at a time when death has visited your own family this week, is deeply moving my friend. Sending you much love and light across the ocean between us, your poet friend, Deborah. xxx

    • My dearest Deborah, thank you for your compassion and understanding. You always understand my feelings easily, and your comforting words calm my mind. As you know, Queen has another beautiful song about mothers called “Bohemian Rhapsody,” which is even more famous. However, I have decided on this song; as you said, it reflects his latest thoughts, which were about his mother: love and blessing, my lovely angel.💖🙏🌹

    You have me very curious. What is you father’s name? I am intrigued that he was a famous writer. No wonder you write such fabulous posts. You must take after him.

    • Yes! His name is Javad Fazel. He was a professional writer and famous at the time. His writing was very fine and effective, and he used it to make his religious stories like dramatic tales. However, he wasn’t a thoughtful father and sold the copyrights of his most bestseller books. He died with a huge sum of debt, and my mother had to clear them all. As you read in this mini biography, his books are being published and sold even now, but I have no right to participate in the profit, wondering how fate is in play. Thank you for your punctiliousness, my lovely Resa.💕🤙😘💖

      PS: honestly, his talent went to my brother Al, who was also an ingrained writer. I pretend to be one!!😉😂

        Unfortunate about the copyright. Many people had intellectual properties absconded in the past, but there are laws in Canada and other countries now preventing or limiting what one can buy or sell or steal in that regard.

      • Oh yeah, I do my best, lovely friend; thank you. About the copyright, it was my father’s own fault. He didn’t think properly about our future and sold the rights himself. He couldn’t handle the money properly!🙄😔💖🙏

      • Many artists, of all ilks, are immensely talented in the area of the arts. However, when it comes to business they are failures.
        I am in the latter category. Although I have nothing to copyright, I was not good at running my own design business.
        Fortunately, I got lucky and found a good career applying my talents in the area of film.

        There is something in/about life that resembles a spinning wheel in a casino.

        I find you and your story most interesting.

      • You are absolutely right, dear Resa. I believe an artist must have a manager to do such awful things as the business! However, as a true artist, you were lucky to stay faithful to your art, and I will appreciate them.

    I wish I could hear the song, Aladin, but I can feel your feelings. I know my sons love me deeply and will honor me and tell stories about my gifts and my foolishness when I’m gone. May they remember me with laughter. Your mother was so beautiful. I’m sorry she died at a young age, but I’m glad you have memories and photos. With gratitude for deep Mother Love.

    • Yes, lovely Lin. All three of us were very bonded with each other, and it was very difficult to endure the loss. But as you know, life must go on! Thank you, my dear friend, for your kind words.🙏💖🦋🌻
