I couldn’t gather my mind together as I tried to write my second post today. Although I have some subjects to work on, the pressure (you might remember what I’m talking about!?) confuses me. Therefore, I decided just to confabulate about the maze!

Yes! As I wrote about my social and political issues in the last months and expressed my position, it’s getting worse. Everything is so muddled up that I wonder who is who and what is what!

I don’t want to begin bitching again ( it looks like I’m going to do it!) But if you look at the happening worldwide, there are such unbelievable events. For example, in Germany, the brand new health minister does the same dung as his predecessor and says; We can’t control the Omicron, but we hold the circulation. However, the small business owners go bankrupt one by one. Although we see in England and Irland, the bans lifted slowly but surely, and Denmark goes along next.

I was always interested in getting the news from every corner and any source in the world. It has been a habit since my time working as a journalist. And even Harrison Ford is in the same opinion as me. He once said: <I read many different newspapers because they all report differently, then I make an overall picture of everything that happens.> Therefore, I see how the US government challenges putting mandates in different enterprises and their workers although in their neighbourhood; Canada, the Convoy of Freedom, is rolling on; however, we see and hear nothing in the popular news!

The Canadian prime minister, Justin Trudeau, once said that the unvaccinated people are Nazis! Now we can watch these people marching peacefully and mixed up two times vaccinated, unvaccinated, and even with boosters all there! Oh yeah, freedom has no categories.

I think that the Prime Minister has exceeded its limit. Here in Germany, we have a political party inclined to the rights; (Neo Nazist) named AFD. They abused the protests of unvaccinated for their profits. But there is a difference, and thank goodness, the German government knows to put a discrepancy in between. They just advise the good protesters to distance themselves from the wrong people!

I know it could be easier to accept all things coming from above, close your eyes, and enjoy the “nice” life. But it is apparently hard for me to do it. Let’s look forward to what will happen next. Freedom also needs patience, as I have learned it my whole life.

    Many thanks for this. I do hope all is OK in Germany. I have my best friend from university who was born in Germany and has German family there. I also know a lovely German family near Hamburg, the friends of my friend and his wife and family.

    • Thank you for your lovely comment, Baldmichael. Many people from the UK were living here in Germany in the earlier years, but now only a few. That’s a pity!
      Unfortunately, it isn’t everything OK, as you can read in my article. I guess the same is also in the UK. Anyway, as the Germans say: Hope dies last! I will look forward to reading your post later. Thank you again, and with the best wishes. 🙏👍

      • Many thanks. I assumed things were not good but it is very difficult to separate truth from lies with the MSM and even the good sites can be misled sometimes, so I try to check with individuals.

        I can’t say I get out and about but I believe things are better here up to a point. If my post are of use, please use as you choose.

        You will find that I refer to Germany especially re Covid and the Nazis/communists who both arose out of the country. You may find what I say hard, although I hope it makes sense.

        When I visited the Hamburg area with my wife to stay with our friends, I saw a German man, a fairly young farmer moving potatoes into a store. As I watched him I thought about the World Wars and said to myself ‘We were brothers, and we fought pointlessly because of the squabbles of rulers.’ It makes me weep now as I think of it.

        He didn’t look much like me as such, as I am slim, not broad and strong as he was, but that was not the point. he was no doubt a true Saxon, and the English are much Anglo-Saxon after all.

        Ultimately I seek healing and a final resolution to dealing with the evil elites who have plagued us and this beautiful planet for far too long.

  4. I think you are accurate. President Roosevelt (the second one) said “we have nothing to fear but fear itself” and it sounds like fear is spiraling out of control in some countries.

    No one placed a sticker of guarantee on every human baby and said “life is guaranteed to be safe.” We have to go on living. If some people don’t want to take the vaccine, that’s their loss. I got the 3 shots and I feel fine about it. If the hospitals get overcrowded, that’s fine also. Buy extra beds and run ’em into lesser used rooms. It’s not rocket science.

    • The main subject I try to explain is not what is good or bad. I only appreciate the freedom of choice in a democracy that must be respected. Since this virus appeared, we only see the problem instead of finding the solution, which has remained among many unanswered questions in the past two years. For example, if vaccination is a lifesaver, why are countries that have vaccinated almost 100 per cent of the population now have a high quote of infected patients? In any case, it’s all so mysterious to me. Than you for the comment. Cheers.

  5. There are so many myths and lies circulating about the virus. Some of my usually rational friends have been taken in by all the no-vax nonsense, spread on social media. Why trust Tiktok over the BBC?!
    I am happily double-jabbed and eagerly awaiting my booster next month. I’ve been exposed to covid, probably caught it – a severe 2 day headache – but I didn’t get tested, I just stayed away from folk. I sat by my mom in the covid ward last week (thankfully she’s back out now). She’s still experiencing ‘covid confusion’ which makes her highly entertaining at times, and she seems very happy in her post-covid delusional world.
    We just have to live with it. Our country is opening up. Too right, the economy is already trashed. Thankfully here in SA, although the spread of omicron has been rapid, people (mostly) aren’t getting so sick. I’ll still wear my mask for the foreseeable future. Doing so have kept me clear of colds and ‘flu for almost 2 years now. 😷

  6. Here in the UK almost all of the restrictions have been lifted which I recognise as being very different from most countries. However, last Thursday, the supposed day of freedom, i went to the supermarket and to my surprise about 90% of the shoppers were still wearing masks and avoiding close contact. Here, obviously, we’re all still in shock and recovering from the past two years. I wonder how long the tentacles of covid will stretch into our future because freedom doesn’t feel real in the UK yet. Thanks for opening up this international conversation Aladin.     • I am sure (unfortunately, as I feel) that these masks have become one of our daily cloth! Although when I have to wear them, I notice how much CO2 I’m inhaling from my exhalation! I wonder these days that many so-called recognized virologists admit that this Omicron variant efficiently immunizes all people!! 😮 Then let it run!
      Oh my dear, I have a heavy heart and carry a lot of pressure on my shoulders. I fled dictatorship to live in a free society, but now it’s less than disappointing.

  7. In Italy for some time we stopped talking about the covid because our parliamentarians had to elect the new president. After so many failed attempts, since they didn’t find a suitable person throughout Italy, they decided to vote for the former president, who accepted even though he would have preferred not to be re-elected

  8. While I, one who’s taken three Covid-19 shots, bascially believe mainstream COVID vaccine science, I’m still cautious of inadvertently following what I call speculative ($$$) science.

    Due to increasingly common privatized research for corporate profit aims, even ‘scientific fact’, to a concerning degree, is for sale. Research results, however flawed, can and are known to be publicly amplified if they favor the corporate product, and accurate research results can be suppressed if they are unfavorable to business interests, even when involving human health.

    Health Canada (our version of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration) was established to act in Canadian consumers’ best interests yet is susceptible to corporate lobbyist manipulation. For one thing, it allowed novelty-flavored vaping products to be fully marketed — even on corner stores’ candy counters — without conclusive independent scientific proof that the product, as claimed by the tobacco industry, would not seriously harm consumers but rather help nicotine addicts wean themselves off of the more carcinogenic cigarette means of nicotine deliverance.

    A few years before that, Health Canada had sat on its own research results that indicated seatbelts would save lives and reduce injury; it wanted even more proof of safety through seatbelts before ordering big bus manufacturers to install them in every bus. To me, those examples smell of science-be-damned lobbyist manipulation — something that should not prevail in a government body established primarily, if not solely, to protect consumers’ safety and health rather than big businesses’ monetary concerns.

    P.S. Besides the three COVID vaccinations, I receive the annual influenza vaccine, though for the last five years I’ve specifically asked for a placebo … to which I receive a serious look by the nurse, who is not amused by my attempt at humor on the subject.

    • Thank you so much for your honest comment, from which I noticed that you are wise and aware of your environment. I know that this virus exists like the other ones, and I respect the people who want to get vaccines. Since long ago, I have decided to live without injecting any vaccine to protect myself and trust my body to do it. I have succeeded and hope it stays in the future, though I am not the youngest! I just don’t want someone to force me to do it!
      Anyhow, vaccinated or don’t, we must keep our eyes open, as you’re doing! I am very grateful for your dear comment, and you are much appreciated. Keep safe and well, and good luck with the Placebo!

    I’m sorry you’re suffering, Aladin. If we’re paying attention, the world is alarming. My country (the US) is crazier than most and some want a civil war. As if Covid weren’t hard enough, Putin is shaking his sword. I feel the pressure on everyone here and throughout the world. I am vaccinated and had a booster and still wear a mask in public, but mostly I stay home or walk outside with my dogs and avoid dear friends except on Zoom. It’s an unhappy stressful time. Take care of yourself, your dear wife, and the grandkids.

Even here in Italy it happened that there were infiltrations of people of the extreme right (fascists) during the first demonstrations, who wanted to take advantage of the discontent of the people. But people immediately understood that they wanted to exploit the protests and so they immediately distanced themselves.
