Serbia and its Pride! The Second Attitude!
As promised in the first post, this is the second report on our summer trip to Serbia. It is also about time because the next trip is already underway; early on Sunday, we fly to Lanzarote for a week!

Although it is typical in every sanctuary to use gold to attract more affection from people, with this wealth, I would have many other valuable ideas to win those people’s hearts!

However, the wall paintings are fascinating.

And some of beautiful nature:

And the beautiful horizon!
As mentioned above, I am off the board until next Sunday if we ever want to return home!!😉😂 Also, You are free of me! See you the weekend after next. I hope you all have a lovely and prosperous time. Thank you all for being with me.🙏🤗💖

Thanks a lot for sharing this second report on our summer trip to Serbia with all those wonderful photos 🙏🙏🙏 and best wishes for your next trip to Lanzarote 💗

Wow, that temple of Saint Sava is just magnificient isn’t it! Thank you so much for sharing more photos from your trip to Serbia, they’re great! Have a wonderful, relaxing trip next week Aladin. Hopefully it’ll be lovely and warm there. I’m most envious because this morning here in the UK we woke up to a chilly 4 degrees, and frost. Brrr! Love and light, Deborah.

The same degrees were in Germany when we left, but now we have arrived here and are enjoying a bit chaotic, windy though much warmer weather. Thank you, dearest. 💖 🙏🫂

What a beautiful temple – the colours and the paintings are gorgeous! I didn’t know Serbia had so much to offer! Have a fabulous holiday Aladin – enjoy the warmth and may you return rested and refreshed. Love and light, Lin

Hi dear Aladin, Serbia looks lovely and in full bloom…especially loved the highland cow how adorable. I have seen a lot of these kinds of gold churches in Poland it looks really similar. I hope you both have fun in Lanzarote, big hugs, Athena

Oh yes, Poland. I have never been there, but I know what you mean. The similarly comes perhaps because of Orthodox Church. Thank you so much, my lovely Athena, for your heartfelt comments. Take care. 🙏❤️🥰

Have a fab week Aladin!
See you when you get back…If you do. lol
Beautiful shots of the temple… but I love the nature shots better.
There is something hypocritical about golden churches and temples.
I see these places and the icons within as being false idols, false gods.
IF you do believe in god and the bible – it is in the 10 commandments “Thou shalt not put false gods before me.”
Therefore there is no physical object needed.

Thank you so much, my dear friend. We’re already spending the last day of our holiday trip, and I got a little time to read your kind comment. It’s true that there are many falsifying gods in our history, and I must say that I can have another perception of your Bible example: You are not allowed to believe in any other gods but me! I’m not a believer, and, honestly, I find this very god of those three big religions is very jealous!😅🥰✌️🌹😘

I agree!
Any actual god would be all encompassing, all forgiving, not bossy and not jealous of the other gods. 🤭😉🥰✌️🌹😘😂

My parents come from Croatia, ancient enemy of Serbia. Does Serbia have a Dubrovnik, castle-city by the Sea? I think not. And yet … those wall paintings in the church drew me. I think that because they’re done in the modern styling, not so Byzantine, they have a greater impact on our sensibilities than would otherwise be the case. Art like this deserves a mention, its effects undying through the ages …

Many years ago, I spent my holidays in Croatia. As I remember, it was in the north, near Rijeka. It was a vast camping place, and I enjoyed it very much. In my opinion, Yugoslavia had to remain as a country, and I wish there wouldn’t be any hostility. Anyway, thank you for your visit, dear friend, and I look forward to visiting your blog.

You’re a brave traveler seeing so much natural and human-made beauty. I miss those days of my life, but now I’m happiest staying home and walking in the forest. I hope your trip was half as beautiful as these photos. May you be safe as you explore the world.

Thank you, dear Elaine. Honestly, the main person is Regina, my wife, who loves and is engaged to travel all through the world. I alone might stay at home and never go outside!! Blessing.
